A New Spring Project...

Hello Friends! For those of us in the Northern Hemisphere, winter is in full force. In the Northwest corner of the United States, that means dreary, gray, often wet skies. Chilly mornings force extra layers, dark evenings hasten bedtime and yards full of slowly growing twigs await nature's transformation. The air crackles with an electric longing as the huddled masses at bus stops gird their loins until the first signs of spring. I'll know it's here when, upon awakening, I am greeted by a bright morning full of birdsong. That's when my annual store of hope and joy will fully burst open! Until then, I am orchestrating plans in my mini workshop for a new spring project.

More will be announced, right here, soon. But first, I need to make the loop to the Southwestern United States to check on the family elders. They are much wiser and live where the winters aren't so tough to survive. Hopefully, while there, I'll absorb enough sunshine to tide me through the last dreary days of winter back home.

Stay warm! See you soon!

xo xo,

Jodi

  1. Hi Jodi! I am still here and I check in on your blog from time to time! I haven't tried to leave a comment in a while because they never seemed to go through! But now I see you are just moderating them and I will gladly rejoin the conversations! :) Have lovely visits with family in the sunny south... I didn't make it out there this year due to too much "stuff" happening here.... and we are having a "doozey" of a Winter so I understand about wanting an escape! My solution has been just that... a "little" kit... Ha Ha.... we know what that means in my house.... but I am having Fun! I hope this comment goes through, you have been missed here in Very Quiet blogland! Safe Travels! :):):)

    1. Hi Betsy! It's so nice to see your lovely comment! I had somehow ended up on spammer's radar so I'll have to approve comments for a bit.
Boy do I know about "stuff" and "little" projects! But life is sad when creators don't create so I'm just going to shut off my brain and dive in! I am excited to catch up on what you've been up to! Bad winters can give us all the excuse we need to stay inside with our minis!
Hope your mom and sister are well! My parents are tough old Montana stock and are still living independently, but I need a refill on their love and antics, lol! Russ' mom is cancer free for a year so we need a celebration with her! It'll be so nice to hug everyone again! Have fun and TTYS!
