~Thank You~ !!!

I'd like to thank everyone who took a gander at last week's vanity auctions on eBay!

~ Thank You~ !!!

I am happy to say that all five sold, and four are on the way to their new owners! It is so exciting to know that something I made is going to live on in other dollhouses! What could be more flattering than that? :O)

Here are this week's grouping of five. The bidding started on Sunday with an opening bid of $.99. Even if you don't need a vanity, it's fun to watch the bidding!

White Marble

Old West Hotel

Nautical

Shabby Pink Bucket Sink

Contemporary Square

Here's the link to the page with all of them:

These end, and then the last group of five auctions will begin on Sunday.

I hope to be back on Thursday with an update on the cabinets for the Storybook's kitchen. Here's a sneak peek at what I'm working on...

Hope everyone is having a great week so far!

Jodi

    1. You said it, Drora! When others who love what we love say "it is good" the feeling of accomplishment is so rewarding!
I'm happy you like the cabinet! :o)

When I finally make it to the decorating part of this project, it is going to feel like such a long awaited gift! I have so many little things to display, and each one of them makes me giddy!

    1. Thanks Giac! I really appreciate the vote of confidence!
When I look at the upper cabinet unit in person, it looks perfect to me - ready for it's treasures to be displayed. When I look at the photo, it's telling me it still needs something. I am going to let it marinate for a bit and work on the lower units. Maybe it will come to me...

  5. I knew that they would sell because they were cute, authentic, and unique. Some collectors are anxious to receive their prizes! I checked out the auction and got excited for you. Bravo. And cannot wait to see your post on the cabinets.

    1. Thank you, Ann! I appreciate the encouragement with the vanities! Sometimes, when you stick your neck out, there are people just waiting with axes to chop it off. But sometimes, and often in our wonderful mini community, you find support and encouragement that give you wings to keep trying. That is such a treasure to me, and I thank you!
I hope the cabinets come out well! They have been so much fun to try and figure out how to do!

    1. I was really surprised that last couple hours, you never know with eBay what will happen. Russ has to go to California (unexpectedly) next month, and my Dremel died, so any extra $$ coming in is welcomed!

  13. Hello, Jodi - Congratulations on such an enthusiastic response to your vanities on eBay. I'm not a bit surprised, of course, and it'll be exciting to see what happens to the next "batch." I LOVE the upper cabinet that you're making for the Storybook Cottage! My heart actually beat a little faster when I saw the photo. I cannot wait to see the whole thing. Beautiful work!
