Well.......... I am exaggerating a bit, but it's true I've had no time for the things I love to do, especially minis...
I can see land on the horizon, so there is hope! And I have managed to find a small island today where my daughter and I can continue to work on our quarter scale fairy houses! I am so excited! We got to spend an afternoon on them several weeks ago, and hers is turning out so cute! I'll do a post about them once we have finished. I think we'll need several more weekend afternoons to finish, though!
After that it is back to the grindstone for me - hopefully just a few more days of marathon work and then life will go back to normal for a few weeks! The first thing on my agenda: catching up on all of my favorite blogs from all of my kindred souls to see what you've been up to! I can't wait!
Blech, paperwork.
ReplyDeleteLove the little glimpse of the fairy house... nice grass carpet.
Looks amazing, I can't wait to see more.
ReplyDeleteWork sucks. Minis are much more fun
ReplyDeleteI sympathize, I've been putting extra hours in at the office too.
ReplyDeleteQuarter scale house looks intriguing, eagerly awaiting your return from work overload.
ReplyDeleteHello Jodi,
ReplyDeleteI do detest real life getting in the way of miniatures! Hang in there and I hope you get back to the things you love soon.

Poor Jodi
ReplyDeleteMy hearts bleeds for you!! There's nothing as bad as having to do something (work) when your mind is on something completely different (miniatures) and you're sitting there thinking of what you could be creating :)
Bang through your paperwork, and get to those wee fairy houses....the picture is so delightful...I can't wait to see how it will look completed.
All the best
Vivian
